Waana Mount .ISO file…???

Lets say you’ve acquired a program’s ISO and lack an optical drive (or a black DVD-R); how shall you run it?

By mounting it in a ‘virtual disc drive’ of sorts. To mount as ISO, open the Terminal and type:

# mkdir /mnt/iso

…to make a directory for it, and then:

# mount NAME.iso /mnt/iso/ -t iso9660 -o loop#
